For anyone working in or around technology and digital across the North of England. Individuals join to attend events, access content, build relationships and stay connected with the wider ecosystem. Membership is for founders, tech leaders, corporate technology teams, employers, investors, tech vendors, service providers and the organisations that support them. Membership is free, with applications reviewed to maintain relevance.

What's the difference between a Supporter and a Partner?
Supporters are the companies in our directory. A Supporter profile is free, and it can publish jobs, news, insight and events to the wider Northern technology community. Partners get everything a Supporter gets, plus a permanent presence across the platform, promotion, events co-created with us and a hand in the direction of Silicon North. Publishing is not a partner benefit — it comes as standard.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Membership is free for people and free for companies — no card, no tier, no renewal. Partnership is the paid relationship above it, from £1,000 a year, and it is agreed with us directly rather than bought online.
What gets reviewed?
New companies, and everything published — news, events, jobs and offers. It is usually done within a working day. Review is what keeps a free and open directory worth reading.
I'm a freelancer — is this for me?
Yes. Joining is free and adding your company is free, whatever its size. Partnership is for organisations that want more than a listing — recognition, promotion, events and involvement.
