Through media, events, community and digital infrastructure, Silicon North helps founders, investors, talent, universities, corporates and support organisations discover each other more easily, share opportunities and build stronger connections across the region. Its aim is simple: make it easier for people, ideas, capital, customers and talent to find each other, helping the Northern technology economy function more like a connected system and less like a collection of disconnected parts.

Launching in Yorkshire first, we cover the whole tech and digital ecosystem: employers, startups, scaleups, investors, corporate tech teams, vendors, service providers, professional services firms, universities, hubs, event organisers, and public sector bodies.
The platform runs across the whole year. Ongoing activity, ours and our members', all in one place. People can follow what is happening, share updates, and take part.
It's open to anyone working in or around tech. Individuals join. Companies take part. The activity comes from the people and organisations inside it.
